The Search Committee sent the following message to all students and staff:

Members of the Campus Community,

The Presidential Search Committee thanks the campus community for its help
and guidance. Whether by interviewing the candidates or by helping us
identify the most important qualifications for our new leader, many of you
provided critical input.

We are pleased to announce that we are nearing the end of our work and are
ready to recommend a candidate to the Board of Managers at its meeting
this weekend. If the Board approves our recommendation, there will be an
informal reception to welcome the new president in the Eldridge Commons of
the Science Center at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 21. The Board still
needs to deliberate and render its decision, but we are hopeful for a
positive conclusion.

Thomas E. Spock ’78
Chair, Presidential Search Committee

We’ll announce the name via our Twitter account as soon as possible.
