Synopsis: Public Safety received information from Facilities that the storage closet in Worth basement has trash and broken items scattered about. EVS was notified. Matter referred to the Dean’s Office.

Suspicious Odor

Date: Wednesday, November 18
Time: 9:54 p.m.
Location: Mary Lyons Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety received a report about a burning odor within Mary Lyons main stair case. There was no sign of fire or smoke. Source could not be determined. Odor dissipated while on scene.

Time: 6:24 p.m.
Location: Bond Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Bond Hall for a fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to a water leak. Facilities notified.

Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Worth Residence Hall. There was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that steam from a shower activated the alarm.

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police & Ambulance responded to the Matchbox for an ill individual. The individual was transported to the hospital.

Synopsis: Public Safety was contacted to initiate an investigation into the possible intimidation of a student by another student. Matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for the report of an ill Swarthmore student. It was determined that the student was intoxicated. Matter referred to the Dean’s office.
